The Blend

The 2012 Caldera Cuveé is a red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (32%), Merlot (27%) and Cabernet Franc (41%), all sourced from the Spring Hill Farms vineyard in the Adelaida District of the Paso Robles Appellation, smack dab in the middle of the California Central Coast.

Harvest Date: October 18th, 2012

Yield: 2.2 tons per acre

Alcohol:  15.1O% by alcohol

Brix: 26.9º

Residual Sugar: .38%

Bottling: October 3rd, 2018 (six years in neutral barrels)

Production: 48 cases and 16 magnums, all with labels signed by the winemaker.

Retail: $99

If you had to know one thing, it would be this:  Caldera Cuveé is the healthiest wine you can possibly drink.  It is the wine your doctor would recommend by prescribing, "...one or two glasses of red wine a day are good for you!"
